Project Overview

The building subject to intervention is a large historic structure originally designed in the 1620s by architect Fabio Mangone, conceived as the Female Orphanage of Santa Maria della Stella.

Over the centuries, the building has undergone several modifications, beginning with a major expansion in 1844.

By official declaration dated December 31, 1953, the property was designated as a protected heritage asset under the provisions of Legislative Decree 42/2004 – Code of Cultural Heritage and Landscape.
