Project Overview

The ongoing assignment involves the preparation of the structural design for the works required to seismically upgrade Building B of the TSH complex in San Lorenzo, Rome, in accordance with the minimum requirements set forth by the New Public Procurement Code.

The planned interventions will first identify the architectural and technical solutions needed to complete the building’s long-standing unfinished renovation in the area in front of the church. The design will balance, on one hand, the need to intervene on a building that has already undergone significant modifications in light of recent works, and on the other hand, the need to optimize the enhancement of the existing structures, minimizing demolitions to what is strictly necessary.
